about

Singing about activities is helpful with a young child's vocabulary as well as with singing. Singing funny sounds (well, they sound funny to us adults, but young children treat all sounds and experiences with the same earnestness) such as la la la are good for a child's vocalization skills. Note some sounds, like la la la, come from the tongue. Others, like ma ma ma or pa pa pa, come from the lips. Ka ka ka comes from the back of the mouth. Lots of variety. Try different made-up sounds when singing with your child. See which ones elicit more reactions from your young one.

lyrics

Oh, I like to sing with you.
Can you do just what I do?
La la, lalala, la la, lalala,
Lala lala lala la, Lala lala lala la.
